September 22 is the birthday of Frodo and his uncle Bilbo, the heroes of my favorite book, "The Lord of the Rings" by Professor Tolkien, and the day Frodo sets out on his journey to abandon the ring that rules the world.

 

Next September, the drama of the Second Age of Middle-earth will begin on Amazon.

 

In the Second Age, no hobbits have been born in Middle-earth, so we are likely to see elves, dwarves and wizards.

 

I'm looking forward to it now.
